Career Paths: Cooking is a new educational resource for culinary professionals who want to improve their English communication in a work environment. Incorporating career-specific vocabulary and contexts, each unit offers stepby-step instruction that immerses students in the four key language components: reading, listening, speaking and writing. Career Paths: Cooking addresses topics including the parts of a kitchen, spices, cooking methods, nutrition and career options.
The series is organized into three levels of difficulty and offers a minimum of 400 vocabulary terms and phrases. Every unit includes a test of reading comprehension, vocabulary and listening skills and leads students through written and oral production.

中國時報【盧金足╱台中報導】
競爭激烈的台中國際動畫影展，總獎金高達百萬元，經動畫導演蔡旭晟、動畫插畫工作者潘心屏等評審委員評分後，從362件優秀參賽作品，選出48件入圍作品，今年學生與業界比率為4比1，高於去年2比1，顯見學生創作與創意活力，都有可能是下一個導演。
台中市新聞局長卓冠廷表示，包括《暗河》、《他奶奶的一天》、《水巨人》等優秀作品入圍，題材從環保、社會弱勢到人際疏離等多元議題，呈現方式更涵蓋剪紙、手繪、鉛筆素描等創新風格，角逐影展首獎50萬元，還有機會登上國際舞台。
去年榮獲「最佳台灣動畫獎」的導演吳德淳，今年以《暗河》入圍，片中剪紙動畫風格強烈討喜，用台語說書人的方式，增強本土親切感，去年評審團特別獎得主陳威元、詹凱勛，今年也以風格各異的《他奶奶的一天》與《水巨人》分別獲得入圍肯定。
影展策展人陳怡菁指出，入圍高手眾多，如今年台北電影獎最佳動畫《撞擊測試》，曾參加東京短片節、曼徹斯特影展、丁格爾動畫影展，導演薛佑廷的手法出神入化，難以分辨是動畫效果或實景拍攝，台灣的優秀動畫技術與創意【博客來排行榜心靈成長故事推薦書單】令人驚豔。
